My house is very old 80-90 yrs. I cannot replace the window with a modern replacement without changing all of my windows which is a bunch due to historical society restrictions. The window is second floor but in a shower and privacy would be nice. I have already tried the stick on vinyl stuff from Home Depot with no luck.

Say if I wanted to add another window or take away one, etc. Say I needed to redo the vinyl siding anyway. Would redoing my windows and window placement mean tearing down the wall? How does one go about doing this, do people even do this?
