i am trying to figure out how to properly update my grandmothers windows, i am instalng new vinyl siding on her home, but it has the rattie old wood facings and i would like to cover them. All other siding jobs i have done have had new windiws with the j channel built in, so this is new to me. is there an industry standard for this application, if so what? she had the windows replaced with aluminum thermal paine about 8 years ago. but they still have the old wood trins around them
