Windows 7 installed, and have no more hard disk space!?

Ok, i had the original Windows XP, and two weeks ago, I did everything I should, custom installation, I had an upgrade version of Home Premium. When I booted up my new OS, I did everything, and I use my media center with DVR for my DirecTV and I have put in place, but now I can not save television programs Also, I have no other installed applications (itunes, desktop, ect ..) and he said I only have 17 GB left 238GB on a computer! was not the custom installation of Windows 7 supposed to remove everything? " Now I only have itunes, and The Sims 3 installed on my computer, and I only have 238 songs, and I just have pictures, and I really need to know if another way threess to get more hard drive in my computer, without using an external hard drive! *** Also, is there a way to install the updated version day on the computer with my father that I ever used? thank you!-im using the x32 bit version. too! thanks

Look in C: Windows.old. That's probably where much space is used. That's all your old XP stuff. You can install this CD on as many computers you want, but you'll need a new activation code for each. (You get the disc when you purchase the activation code you do not pay 3 cents for plastic.)

Buying a Mac?

I want to buy a computer, do you think I would choose Mac instead of Windows? I went to check on Macintosh and I think the price is too expensive. Also, I do not think I really know how to use Macintosh and Windows program can be installed in it. But I like the way the system works and some of the programs inside the Macintosh. They are fun. What do you think should I choose? I want computers for more fun and action-game for the home and school users. I would also have things like programming and web design.

Tell us a little more about what you do on the computer. If you do mostly surfing the Internet, music, movies, e-mail, pictures, etc. Then for a Mac. You 'll love. It is (usually) more stable, less attacked by viruses, etc. If you do serious gaming on Windows-based games, it may be worth sentence to stick to Windows XP. Personally, I think you would love Mac. I use a Dell for my office, but a Mac for my computer Portable back and forth between the two very easily. It was not something that I need on the Mac that I have not been able to easy to find. * Update – if you think about the game, just make sure you go to gaming sites, or look on Amazon.com for the name of the game software you like, but just to make sure it is compatible with Mac.

(Higher res = lower FPS) and when I try to give it to 1024×768, resize it, but it shows gaps in black on the left, right, top and bottom of my screen help? Im using a laptop 15 inches Thank you IMAGE: http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/8145/1112092113.jpg

HMN laptop for a while. . . . . First try a restore point before you raised the resolution. Then try to boot in safe mode and adjusting the resolution, if System Restore did not help

How do I delete photos from my wallpaper added (wallpapers) list?

I went to my list wallpaper to change my wallpaper, and I noticed that all the pictures I personally added to the "My images "folder somehow ended up in my list of wallpapers. How can I remove them from the list without at the same time be removed the "My Pictures" folder? I do not want them in my list of wallpapers. Also, is there a way I can prevent any of my personal photos to be added to the list of wallpapers again from now on? I use Windows XP Professional …

I had the same problem, if you create a new folder on your desktop (I named mine "my pictures") and move all your images in this case (open my pictures, click Edit, click Select All, and drag a new folder) then in the future make all your news photos in this folder does not appear on your list more. If you go into your Windows folder and delete all files in the future that are stored in your folder My images appear on the list. Good Luck
