Anyone have recommendations on window locks for kids?

Gallo asked:

For some reason the developer of our condo installed window locks on the ground floor, but not the second. My son already tries to mess around with the windows and my daughter is getting close to the age where I’m shure she’ll start trying.

Our windows are vinyl, which means you can drill or cut into them. Does anyone know of any window locks you can install for vinyl windows?

Window guards, window locks, security bars and grates can help to protect your family from falls and intruders. Yet these safety devices may also hinder or prevent escape or rescue in the event of a fire or other emergency. Where devices of these types are installed, check the local building requirements in your area to make sure they satisfy emergency escape and rescue requirements for removal or release.

Consult your local health, fire and police departments regarding general home safety, fire and security tips.

—I know I didn’t give you the type of window lock, but as stated above, I think they are more qualified. :)
