dont know about the verticle blinds but the vinyl ones will have small tabs up on the tops at both ends, you slide them out and remove the blinds for cleaning.

It’s kinda hard to explain… on the mini blinds, there are clips on either end of the top behind the valance. The clips probably slide our, then the whole thing comes forward. Make sure you raise the blinds first so they’ll be easy to handle.

The verticals are a little different. Remove the valance and you’ll see brackets that the frame snap into – there’s probably a few. Fiddle with it and the whole thing will pop down. It might take a wee-bit of force and there’ll be a ‘POP’ when they snap out.

    Good Luck!

Look for the little tabs at the top corners that should slide out. When you get the blinds out, the vinyl one I wash myself with TSP and a brush. I then hand them on the back porch to dry.

If your just going to clean them, it is much easier to leave them up and vaccume them off. This is what I do. Then I get a damp cloth and wipe them. I do this regularly and they have remained clean. If you just have to get them off, there are little square boxes in the corners of the frame, slide the front piece off, opposite the frame, once you remove this piece, the whole blind will come off easily. My mom actually takes her blinds off and saoks them in hot water and pine sol in the bath tub to clean them.
