Check your board and see how much memory you can put in…ram. Your next step would be to upgrade your graphics card. Geforce is nicer for gaming. You want to use 128+ mb of memory on the graphics card. You can also try turning off programs while you are running the game. If you arnt online turn off your antivirus and disconnect from the network :-P

well scense your motherboard can only handle agp you might want to consider getting a new motherboard and while your at it a cpu and 2gb of ram and a new graphics card
if you dont want to get a whole new motherboard try to upgrade that cpu if possible to a dual core amd and another 1gb of ram and upgrade the graphics card to a ati 3850 (make shure its the agp version)

I would throw in a lot more RAM and go into the BIOS and make sure the video aperature is set to use all of the video RAM built into the card. Otherwise, you are not utilizing the full capability of the video card. That should dramatically speed up the system.

not sure about the radeon,…….. but there’s not enough meat on your ram and processor.
