Mastics Siding by Alcoa installed by Shield Wondows of Orland Park IL – Anyone with experience with them?

Have shopped for siding, and am thinking of going with Mastic Quest 3 by Alcoa – 4″ Dutch Lap, installed by Shield Windows on Orland Park IL… Has anyone dealt with either this company or used this siding?? Please let me know your experience. We have wood siding on right now which we will side over with Tyvek wrap and foam plus the vinyl siding. Anyone with any advice please let me know. Thanks.

   The siding is a really nice quality and seems to last great. Mastic Quest is a great choice. I use quest at about 90% of the siding jobs i do. Much sturdier material than most out there. Don’t know about the company though… even the nicest material can look horrible when poorly / incorrectly applicated. My advice would be to ask for some refferences and addresses so that you can see there work before committing. There some companies that just want to get paid and get out and i feel sorry for the people who have to see there money go to waste because of a worker’s laziness. Vinal is a great long-lasting, low-maintenance material, just do your research.
